Well done to the "Magnificent Eight" in St Mary's Choir at the Customs House. The South Tyneside Music Festival was a great success and a big part of that was due to the talent and enthusiasm of the eight children from Y6. I was the most nervous one there during the rehearsals but if I'd known how well it would go I'd have smiled all the way through. Thanks too to the parents and friends who saw the concert and were kind enough to say how much they had enjoyed it.

Its so cool me and daniel and kaylee are sharing an apartment and daniel sleeps in the sitting room that folds into a bed and im sleeping with kaylee in a room with about three beds . I just wanted to say, the site is great, it would be lovely to see some old pictures, maybe a few of my class in the good old days, and i would be happy to help with that, as i have plenty of pictures somewhere in my house. A special thanks must go to the staff of St. Marys for allowing me to do my work experience, i found it very interesting. Also, a huge mention must go the pupils of St. Marys, they are the best! Hopefully everything is going ok and the school is still as good as it was when i was a pupil, i have no doubts that it is! Hello, was wondering where all the photos are for last character book day. But good site helps with holiday times etc

Due to national school restrictions about displaying chidren's photos on the internet, we cannot display photos of our pupils unless parental consent is given. As you can imagine, this does pose problems when taking photos of school events. To ease the problem, I have recently sent out website consent forms to KS1/Foundation Stage, as most KS2 children received them last year. There is also a copy of the consent form on our website. I think the best thing on the web site is seeing the teacher's with mad hair on bad hair day.

I would just like to tell other parents in the school about the fabulous time I have had attending the 'Family Learning Room'.
I have learnt so much on how to help my child at school and have thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it too!
I would highly reccommend any future courses to other parents, it is such a relaxed and friendly atmosphere and the information I have learned is invaluable.

This site is brill ,but I think pics should be taken inside the school showing how fantastic it is inside.

I think the Africa project in the school hall is excellent, well done everybody you must have worked very hard, I really enjoyed looking at it at the parents evening, and would just like to say that the new way in which the parents evening was held was much better.

I would like to congratulate all the boys from year5&6 who took part in a magnificent 5-1 win over, St Vincent's R.C Walker. The score was 1-1 at half time, with a goal from Kieren Laverick. In the second half St. Mary's picked up the pace with excellent passing football, with four more goals from David Murphy, Steven Daily and two goals from Luke Fittess to put St Mary's into the final.

Thanks to all of the parents and children who have given us tremendous support and feedback since the launch of our new website. Now that the structure is in place, we hope to be able to add new features regularly. We're particularly keen to expand the parents' section of the website, to publicise the good work that goes on behind the scenes, for example, in family literacy and numeracy sessions. In the future we would like to be able to advertise fundraising events, many of which have been organised by our parents in the past. Any further ideas from parents, regarding other useful features, will be very welcome.
