Today Year 6 went to the Royal Grammar School in Newcastle. We took part in a computing workshop called Crazy Mazes. The children were able to explore the game Pacman and were able to make their own mazes in Scratch programming the sprites. They had great fun exploring and are going to continue to create these at school. They were then able to go to The Discovery Museum where the children explored the large scale model of the River Tyne. The children thought about how this was in comparison to the Mississippi which was a part of their creative curriculum topic.
